Who operates the service
Better Local SEO is operated by DOYJO LLC. This policy covers our website, inquiries, signup, account, billing, onboarding, service work, emails and reports. We use the Poyjo service platform and authorized service providers to deliver Better Local SEO programs. Contact hello@betterlocalseo.com with a privacy question or request.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information generated while operating your account, and relevant information from public sources or accounts you authorize us to access.
- Contact and business details: name, email, phone, business name, website, service area, business type, goals, messages and billing address.
- Account and service records: selected program, onboarding answers, access status, business materials, requests, drafts, approvals, version history, completed work, reports, correspondence and email preferences.
- Billing records: customer and invoice identifiers, payment references and status, masked payment details, renewal and cancellation records, and the terms and payment authorizations you accept.
- Technical and referral details: IP address, browser information, security logs, page URL, referral and campaign parameters, and analytics interactions. These help operate forms, limit abuse, troubleshoot and understand site use.
- Public business information and authorized platform data, such as website pages, business profiles, search and analytics measurements, advertising information and connection credentials or tokens where needed for the agreed service.
How we use the information
We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, create and protect accounts, prepare analysis and proposed priorities, process billing, verify access, deliver approved work, measure available results, send service messages and maintain records. We also use it to investigate abuse, resolve disputes, meet applicable obligations and improve service operations. We do not sell your personal information or rent customer lists. Supplying a business email does not enroll you in promotional marketing.
AI-assisted work and the Poyjo platform
The Poyjo platform supports analysis, onboarding, work queues, approvals and reports. OpenAI and other providers identified for an agreed task may process relevant business details, public page content, instructions and service materials to help prepare analysis, drafts and reports. Authorized operators and agents use the information for your service. AI output may be inaccurate and must be reviewed appropriately before use.
- Only provide information needed for the business task. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, full payment details, health records, identity documents or other sensitive personal information through ordinary forms, email or AI instructions.
- If a task requires confidential or regulated information, agree a suitable access and handling method with us first. Do not assume a general marketing account is approved for such information.
- Approval and billing records document your choices. Use of AI does not grant permission to publish changes or spend money beyond the authority you provide.
Connected websites, Google services and access
When you authorize a connection, we use information and permissions from your website, Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, Ads or another service only as needed for the agreed work, verification and reporting. The information available depends on the permission you grant. Keep ownership of your accounts and use invitations or an agreed protected access method.
- You can revoke a provider connection in that provider’s settings and tell us to stop using it. This may prevent related work or measurement. Revoking access does not by itself cancel billing; cancel future renewals in Account.
- Revoking a connection stops future permitted access but does not automatically erase historical reports, approvals, invoices or required records. Contact us to request deletion of retained information.
- Third-party platforms apply their own privacy terms to information you give them. We do not control their independent practices.
QuickBooks billing and payment information
Intuit QuickBooks processes payments and maintains customer, invoice and transaction records needed for billing. Card details entered in our account checkout go directly to Intuit. We receive secure payment references and masked card information; we do not store your full card number or security code. Card or bank information entered on a QuickBooks-hosted payment page is handled by Intuit. We retain the relevant amount, status, transaction references and billing consent to reconcile payments and support your program.
Intuit privacy statement
Who receives information
Relevant information is available to authorized DOYJO service personnel and providers supporting hosting, the Poyjo platform, AI processing, email, payments, analytics and the platforms used for your approved work. They receive information needed for their role; this is not permission for us to publish your private account records. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate misuse or resolve a dispute. If the business is transferred, relevant service records may transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. Service providers may process information outside your state or country, where laws may differ.
Cookies, analytics and your choices
Essential session cookies support secure sign-in, form protection and account operation. Public marketing pages currently load Google Analytics 4 through the Google tag to measure visits, pages and form interactions. Google may receive technical information and use analytics cookies under its own policies. Embedded third-party content, when used, may also receive your IP address and browser information.
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on · How Google uses information from partner sites
- This site does not currently provide an analytics consent banner or a built-in analytics opt-out switch. Do not assume that opening an account or turning off service emails disables website analytics.
- You can control or delete cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or forms from working.
- Campaign parameters in a page URL may be included with a submitted inquiry to identify the source of the request. Our form analytics event measures a form interaction, not a confirmed paid subscription.
- If you need help with a privacy choice, contact us. We will review requests and provide applicable choices; this policy does not claim that every browser privacy signal is automatically honored.
Service email preferences
Sign-in, security, billing, cancellation and essential account messages are part of operating your service. Routine progress updates, access reminders and reports are on by default and can be changed in Account. Replies are retained as needed to follow up and document service decisions. Optional email settings do not cancel a subscription, revoke platform access or stop essential notices. Promotional marketing would require a separate choice; creating an account does not subscribe you.

Security and retention
We use access restrictions and technical safeguards intended to protect account and service information. No website, email system or transmission is completely secure. Keep your sign-in links private and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry or service, accounting, security, resolving disputes and applicable obligations; different record types may have different retention needs.
- Cancellation stops future renewals when confirmed; it does not immediately erase your account or service history.
- Payment, invoice, approval and consent records may need to remain after a deletion request. We will explain relevant limits when responding.
- Deleted information may remain in protected backups until those backups are replaced under their retention cycle. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or a provider system we do not control.
Access, correction and deletion requests
Contact hello@betterlocalseo.com to ask what information we hold about you, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights to a copy, portability, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent. Tell us which account or business and which information the request concerns. We may verify identity and authority before providing or changing records; please do not send identity documents unless a protected verification method is arranged.
Email a privacy request
- We assess requests under applicable law and explain any lawful retention or access limits. Deletion or restriction can affect our ability to provide the service.
- For data controlled by a separate platform, use that platform’s privacy controls as well. If you are contacting us about information we handle for a client business, we may need to coordinate the request with that business.
- You may contact the relevant privacy regulator where applicable. We will not treat a privacy request as consent to a new charge or additional marketing.
Children and other people’s information
Our services are for business customers and are not directed to children under 13. Do not submit children’s information or another person’s private information unless it is necessary, appropriate and you have authority to provide it. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information so we can review and address it.
Updates to this policy
This policy was updated October 17, 2026 for the account, billing and ongoing service process. We may update it as the service or applicable requirements change. We will provide notice of material changes where appropriate or required and obtain further consent where required. An updated privacy notice does not itself authorize new charges or expand the scope of approved work.
